Students in Meorot Chabad have recently taken upon themselfs to dedicate some extra time to volunteer. In honour of Tu-B’Shvat, a large group of student’s went with our new Chavrusa, Rabbi Moshe Hecht, to a yishuv called Ma’aleh Levona to help plant trees and work in their farms.
Additionally, Rabbi Gamson has arranged for the students to travel once a week to Beitar to volunteer for an organization called ‘Hashutafut’ by helping the local community pack Shabbos food to be distributed to the needy family’s in Beitar.
