Shavous in Jerusalem and....Romania?!

This years Shavous was packed with a full exciting schedule. It started with Mincha in Yeshiva with Rabbi Gamson and the Shluchim followed by a shiur on a Sicha of the Rebbe given by Rabbi Gamson. After an inspiring Maariv, we all sat down for the Seudas Yom-Tov with Rabbi Gamsons’ family. Our all-night learnathon began shortly afterwards included classes given by our students and Shluchim. Schneur Lakein gave a shiur on different periods throughout Jewish history, Michael Saul gave a question & and answer class, and Naftoli Fishman gave a shiur on a Sicha. At around 3:30 in the morning everyone set out to the Mikva and then to continue learning, daven Shachris with the vatikin minyan together with the Maayanot Yeshiva. Once everyone returned to Yeshiva,a tasty milchig meal was served with a variety of milk foods, followed by the meat meal later in the day. In honor of Shabbos many students walked to the Kotel for Kabolas Shabbos and later enjoyed a unique meal in Meah Shearim experiencing the unique customs of the Dushinsky Chassidim. A few hours before Shabbos, everyone enjoyed a Seudah Shlishis and farbrengen at Rabbi Gamson new apartment in Jerusalem.
One of our students, Binyomin Einstein, travelled on Shluchos to Romania to help the Shliach, Rabbi Naftali Dietch, with his annual Shavous program. While there he helped give over speeches, read the Aseres Hadibros and meet many of the local Jews and tourists.
